The General Synod of the Province de L’Eglise Anglicane Du Congo has elected Dr Titre Ande as its next Primate and Archbishop.
The Bishop of Aru, Dr Georges Titre Ande, has been elected to serve as the next Archbishop and Primate of the Province de L’Eglise Anglicane Du Congo. He was elected at the province’s General Synod. He will be installed as Archbishop in January 2022, succeeding Archbishop Zacharie Masimango Katanda.
Dr Titre Ande is currently the Bishop of Aru Diocese. Archbishop Zacharie, who became primate in September 2016, will remain in post until Dr Titre Ande is installed early next year.
